Live Video Integration
TELentice Player offers many choices when it comes to live video integration.  The player supports streaming from a source or you can integrate a video receiver inside the device and have the TELentice Player display the video from the receiver hardware.  Live video is a great way to keep spectators engaged during a sporting event or concert as well as many other examples.  

Custom Tickers, XML and RSS Integration
The TELentice player supports most major RSS (really simple syndication) formats currently available for news, weather, sports, etc.  The TELentice player also allows you to use custom RSS and XML formats to display news, weather, sports scores, or any other data you wish to stream to a page or a ticker.  The TELentice ticker is fully customizable allowing many options for act ground colors, transparencies, animations and more.

Targeted video on demand (VOD)

The TELentice targeted video on demand system is similar to those offered by cable and satellite providers.  This capability is particularly useful for remote learning and training purposes.  This system can be used to deliver interactive experiences on a one to one or one too many basis.

Using web pages to display menus, welcome screens, or any other variety of content that needs to be updated on a daily, hourly or even by the minute is common in digital communications.  TELentice offers this capability with a sophisticated, yet very easy to use delivery mechanism that allows changes and updates to occur almost effortlessly.  The Player supports all major web formats such as HTML, ASP, XML and more.

Other Features

The TELentice player platform uses a robust “Watchdog” system to maintain maximum uptimes.  The platform also employs a custom scheduling system that allows you to precisely control automated tasks such as cleaning old media from the system or scheduling 3rd party software and device actions.
