CASE STUDY

Project:      UHHS Cafeteria Menu Management

Industry:     Hospitality

Region:       North America

Synopsis:

The University Hospital Health System of Cleveland, OH commissioned TELentice Global Inc. to deliver a digital menu management system for their newly renovated café within the Cleveland Hospital.  The solution provided 10 LCD monitors above the 6 serving stations showing menu items and pricing.  There are also 2 large displays in the entrance to the café for general hospital messages as well as menu selections.  Menu items are rotated weekly and monthly.  A transparent ticker scrolls across the bottom of the screens for additional menu info as well as for future capability of customer order processing.

UHHS is planning to expand this system to other hospital cafés in the network over the following year.

Challenge:

-         Set up the network within the hospital’s tightly bundled infrastructure and allow access into TELentice Enterprise for users connected to the hospital LAN.

-         Deploy a scheduling rotation of 5 weeks with static and flash content.

-         Utilize day-parting to change menus between breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
