Synopsis:
VGI Global Media is the exclusive leasing licensor of commercial areas within the Bangkok Mass Transit System (BTS). VGI Global Media offers full range of advertising media such as light boxes, panels, and plasma screens throughout BTS system, but not limit to inside and around the train body with media stickers. All positioned to be highly visible.
TELentice Enterprise was selected by VGI to offer pinpoint target messages using day-parting on specified plasma screens at specified locations. The result has been the most successful Asian digital advertising networks in generating revenue.

Challenge:
- Broadcast media to multiple stations throughout the city from a centrally operated and managed facility. - Deliver a combination of advertising, tourist information, weather forecasts, and financial information as well as BTS train schedules to the nearly 470,000 daily passengers. - Provide commuters with timely and accurate information.
System:
- Installed in 15 stations with 60 screens. - Screens are 42” Plasma displays. - Connected via DSL line and integrated within an Optical Fiber Cable network. - Operating with TELentice Enterprise 3.0 and Ad Hoc Scheduler. - Utilizing transparent ticker - Completed in September of 2003. - System uptime is 99.7%. - Profitable in first 3 months.
